Garden profile
From the front lawn you can visit all the different parts of the garden, firstly, taking in the woodland glade and the shaded areas. The view then opens up into the croquet lawn with the young specimen trees in the distance. Beyond the croquet lawn the pergola leads you to the maze. This feature has become an attraction for young and old alike. Come and try it for yourself!

A short stroll will take you to the gravel garden
which has a selection of conifers, alpines, grasses, bamboo and spring bulbs. The water feature is made from rocks brought over from Norway. Close by is the old rockery, a waterfall cascades into a pond below, full of goldfish and koi carp.

You then move out to a less formal part of the garden, the pond and wildlife area, with it's dramatic changes throughout the seasons. Here you can sit in the shade gazing over a large expanse of water stocked with Rudd and Mirror Carp, or stroll through a winding path next to the waters edge. Native trees, grasses and wildflowers surround this tranquil haven.
